Here are some suggestions for things you can do to help ensure that your project is competed on schedule, on budget and as you intended.

Consultation with us is free and can save you money.


Arrange for a tour of Mail - O - Matic. By knowing about the production process, you will be able to design your projects more efficiently and more creatively.


Realistic time lines reduce stress, Be sure to give yourself and your suppliers sufficient time to complete the various proofing and production tasks.


Send enough material. Allow for some material to be spoiled during shipping, setup and production.


Use an envelope window wide enough to fit your addresses, plus any additional Canada Post letter carrier codes or US Postal Service automation codes.

Project Checklist

Consult with Mail-O-Matic for the best way to proceed.

Send clear written instructions to M-O-M.

Advise representative if follow-up mailing is planned.

Provide a written list of inserts and package versions.

Confirm that paper stock and envelopes are compatible with machinery and comply with postal standards.

Check that materials actually fit into the envelope and that all pieces can be inserted with address visible.

Provide a sample package of the mailing.

Tell M-O-M when materials are expected to arrive.

Write contact name and project details on data diskette / in e-mail, including file names and quantity to expect.

Confirm intended mail date.

Provide payment of postage before the mail date.
